Affliction, Then Comes The Resurrection

Affliction, Then Comes The Resurrection

The Lord’s Day, March 29, 2020

Thank you for setting aside this time for worship in your home. Though we are not together, we are united in Christ Jesus. Today is the Lord’s day no matter where we are. And even through seasons of uncertainty, we are comforted by the truth that God’s sovereign hand rules over all creation. Therefore, we have much to rejoice in for His wisdom is perfect, His ways are pure, and His promises are true.

Enjoy this wonderful hymn, “Come Thou Fount” and sing along with the lyrics provided. …tune your hearts to sing of God’s Grace!

Our scripture for this sermon is 2 Corinthians 1:8-11.

The Apostle Paul faced something that was beyond human survival. The Lord took him to the point at which he could not fall back on any intellectual, physical, or emotional human resource.

Paul endured the afflictions with the understanding that trust in God’s power to raise the dead, was the only hope of rescue from his extreme circumstances.

2 Corinthians 1:8-11

Thank you for your generosity and your willingness to support the ministry of Church at The Cross.
