Plan your visit

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel uncertain. Whether you’re exploring Christianity, returning to church after time away, new to the area, or searching for a church home, we’re glad you’re here.
Church at The Cross is a non-denominational community of believers centered on the worship of the Triune God, the teaching of His Word, and the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the foundation for faith and daily living.
No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join us. Visitors are never expected to participate in anything they are uncomfortable with. Feel free to simply come, observe, and get to know us.

Sundays at 9:30 AM

Our worship service begins at 9:30 AM and typically concludes around 11:00 AM.

Each service includes:

  • A Call to Worship
  • Congregational singing with Christ-centered hymns
  • Prayer
  • An offering opportunity
  • Legacy of the Saints — a brief video highlighting faithful believers from church history
  • Expository preaching from Scripture

The preaching of God’s Word is central to our worship. Most Sundays include approximately one hour of verse-by-verse biblical teaching aimed at helping believers grow in their understanding of God and apply His truth to everyday life. Because the teaching of Scripture is central to our worship, we encourage you to bring your Bible and follow along during the service.

We also observe the Lord’s Supper together on the first Sunday of each month. See the FAQ below regarding participating in the Lord’s Supper.

When You Arrive

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by one of our greeters at the front entrance.

Be sure to head over to the table next to the double doors and pick up a worship folder

Then head into the sanctuary and sit wherever you’d like. We’d be happy to help answer any questions and help you feel at home.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is the Atmosphere Like?

Our gatherings are reverent, welcoming, and centered on Christ.

We are not interested in creating a performance or putting on a show. Instead, we gather to worship God, encourage one another, pray together, sing truth-filled songs, and sit under the teaching of Scripture.

What Should I Wear?

There is no dress code.

Some attend in business casual attire, while others come in jeans and a t-shirt. We encourage you to dress comfortably and modestly. Our focus is not on appearance but on worshiping God together.

Do I Need to Know the Bible?

Not at all.

Whether you’ve spent years studying Scripture or have never opened a Bible before, you are welcome here. Our desire is to teach God’s Word clearly and faithfully so that people can understand who God is, what He has done through Christ, and how His truth shapes our lives.

Come as you are and feel free to learn, listen, and ask questions.

Should I Bring a Bible?

Yes

We encourage everyone to follow along in God’s Word during the service.

If you have a Bible, feel free to bring it with you, whether in print or on your phone, tablet, or other device. Throughout the sermon, we regularly read and study passages of Scripture together.

If you don’t own a Bible or forget to bring one, don’t worry. We have Bibles available, and someone would be happy to help you borrow one for the morning.

Who May Participate in the Lord’s Supper?

If you have been redeemed, you are encouraged to participate in the Lord’s Supper. Remembering that your salvation was possible only through the sacrifice of Christ on your behalf (Ephesians 2:8-9)

If you would like to know more information about our beliefs pertaining to the Lord’s Supper, please view our Statement of Faith, Section 12. The Ordinances

What About Young Children?

Because our church family presently includes very few children, age-specific classes may not be available every Sunday.

At Church at The Cross, we believe children should be taught God’s Word in ways they can understand and apply to their lives.
When age-specific children’s classes are available, we use the Generations of Grace curriculum to provide biblical instruction centered on Scripture and focused on helping children grow in their knowledge of God.

If you have questions about what to expect for your children on a particular Sunday, please feel free to contact us before your visit.

Is There a Place for Infants and Toddlers or Individuals with Special Needs?

Yes.

Located just off the sanctuary is a quiet room equipped with a live video feed of the service. This space provides a comfortable environment for parents with young children or individuals who may benefit from a quieter setting while still participating in the worship service.

Will I Be Asked to Give Money?

No.

As part of our worship, we receive offerings that support the ministry of the church, missions, and outreach. If you are visiting, please do not feel any obligation to participate. We are simply grateful that you chose to worship with us.
